He began his industry career at UBS in 1999 and has served clients as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors and Ameriprise. He aligned with Raymond James and Agility Wealth Management, an Independent Practice, in 2021. He is a graduate of Flagler College, where he earned a B.A. in business. 

Giving back to the community is a priority for Ed. He is a member of Rotary Club of West Jacksonville, the JT Townsend Foundation and Pine Castle, a nonprofit that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental differences. He is also a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Legatus, an international organization of Catholic business leaders. He has helped sponsor the basketball team at Providence High School since 2013 and is a Veterans Treatment Court mentor.

Ed lives in Neptune Beach, his home since 2003. In his free time, he loves to travel, attend concerts and serve the community.
